Who is Future Capable?

We exist to make work work better.

Future Capable is a founder-led consultancy helping organisations solve performance problems across people, process and technology.

Our mission is to help businesses and people perform at their best.

We look closely at the work, find what is limiting performance and build the right response with the people who need it to work.

Nobody is suffering from a training deficiency.

The goal is people better able to do work that matters. Sometimes that requires training. Sometimes it requires a clearer process, better support, a different tool or all of those things working together.

And who am I?

I'm Greg. I started in mining operations, moved into learning and capability, led global teams through large-scale change, then began consulting and building products.

The job title changed. The questions didn't.

I built Future Capable because learning had drifted too far from the work it was supposed to improve.

I wanted the freedom to follow the real problem across people, process and technology—and then help build the answer.

A career built by following the problem.

From the coalface, literally, to global learning and technology.

Rio Tinto

From frontline operations to training leadership

This is where the frontline foundation came from: mining operations, compliance, process improvement and training leadership in a high-risk work environment.

Yancoal Australia

Safety, learning and emerging technology

I worked with the NSW Resources Regulator on a government-monitored undertaking, combining safety, workshops, virtual reality and mobile technology.

Global manufacturing and mining services

Global learning and digital adoption

I led a global learning function across operations, technology and corporate teams, and helped shift a major transformation from training-heavy delivery toward performance support and digital adoption.

Future Capable

Founder, consultant and product builder

Now I build products and help leaders understand business problems, connect people and technology, and create responses that can actually change the work.

I can move between the human, operational and technical parts of a problem without pretending they are separate.
